At Occ-Care we provide various medical examinations as well as medical tests to ascertain the fitness levels and health conditions of both workers and work seekers.

South African Law requires that Employees are physically fit and able to perform and fulfill their positions of employ. Employers on the other hand have to ensure that their workers are provided with a work environment conducive to good health.

Sr Zuma has 22 year experience in the nursing profession of which 12 years is at the Occupational Health.

She has worked and managed difference companies and currently is the managing director at Occ Care Occupational Health Services.

DR R.B. KARRIM

DIRECTOR

MB ChB (Ntl) BSc Med Science (Stell)

A Medical Practitioner with over 40 years experience. In addition to MB ChB (Ntl) she a has a BSC (Hons) in Medical Science (Stellenbosch). She has worked in the industrial area in the south of Durban for over 20 years providing primary health care and treating injuries on duty.

She has been a SAMSA (South African Maritime Safety Authority) approved medical practitioner since 1999.

MB ChB MPraxMed (Ntl) DOH (Wits)

After practising many years as a General Practitioner in the Durban area servicing a largely industrial population he then went into full time practice of Occupational Medicine.

He worked as a Consultant for two major Occupational Health service providers for a few years. He also acted as an Occupational Medical Doctor at the King Edward VIII Hospital Occupational Medicine Clinic in Durban. He spent time also with Qatar Petroleum in Doha.
